Consultation & Trial Lesson
Every new student is invited to a free consultation whether that's a zoom call or a chat over coffee.
In our consultation, we will discuss your musical background, goals and interests. We'll begin to sketch out a plan, and aim for a target that makes sense for the both of us.
If my capabilities aren’t the best fit for your vision, I will do my best to refer you to other amazing musicians and instructors I have met along the way.
In our trial lesson, I will provide you with relevant resources, to begin tackling your goals head on. I can observe in detail how you play your instrument and if any repairs are needed. It'll give you the chance to ask questions and get comfortable in our learning environment. You'll be asked to reflect on your experience during and after the lesson.
Although many students gain a lot of insight in their first lesson, don't forget! Progress takes patience and commitment.
Online Resources and Recordings
Each of my students will have access to their own Google Drive Folder, where we can share resources, lesson notes and recordings.
By your consent, I encourage all of my students to participate in documenting our lessons with audio recording. This ensures transparency, and allows for us to look back on the progress we make.
